The success continues at Allianz Worldwide Care

Allianz Worldwide Care, based in Dublin, is the specialist provider of expatriate health insurance of the Allianz Group. The 2005 financial results show that premiums written have increased by 36% in 2004 over 2005.

Allianz Worldwide Care, which only commenced trading in May 2000, has also shown a profit increase of 48% over 2004. Staff members have also increased by 45% in 2005.

This continued success is as a direct result of increased sales across the business in 2005. Allianz Worldwide Care enjoyed particular success with its new market operations - UAE, Benelux, Switzerland and the Far East. Together with the strong existing customer base, specialised knowledgeable staff and systems and recognised service excellence, Allianz Worldwide Care continued to build a reputation for being the premium health insurance provider for expatriates. This was recognised at the UK Health Insurance Awards when Allianz Worldwide Care scooped the award for ‘Best Group International Private Medical Insurer in 2005’ for the second year in a row.

Allianz Worldwide Care operates exclusively via the intermediary market in the UK where it enjoys a considerable support base.
