International health insurance specialist Allianz Worldwide Care has been “Highly Commended” in the “Best International Private Health Group” category at the International Investment Fund and Product Awards 2009. The ceremony took place at The Brewery, London, on the 13th of May 2009 and Duncan Wright, Allianz Worldwide Care’s UK Business Development Manager, accepted the award.
The awards scheme, which is administered by International Investment, includes a judging panel of senior people from the investment and offshore industry. There were a number of areas that this panel of industry experts felt Allianz Worldwide Care had excelled in. They described how the needs of corporate groups were “extremely well served” and that “multinational corporation reach was excellent”. Testament to this is the company’s client base, which includes many of the Global Fortune 500, and its unusually high client retention rate (95% in 2008). The panel was also impressed by the “excellent service standards” and the professionalism with which these service standards have been implemented and maintained. Allianz Worldwide Care’s “excellent language facilities” were also a factor in achieving the award – the company provides its website and policy documents in a choice of English, German, French, Spanish or Italian, a unique service feature within international healthcare.
