Inaugural European Appointment announced
Allianz Worldwide Care has appointed international public relations firm, Grayling, to manage its pan-European communications programme with a particular focus on UK, French, Dutch and Swiss markets. The campaign will be coordinated by Grayling’s office in Dublin.
Allianz Worldwide Care, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Allianz Group, specialises in providing international health insurance for employees, individuals and their dependents, wherever they are in the world.
Based in Dublin, Ireland, Allianz Worldwide Care has earned a reputation as a leading provider of international health insurance. The company is hugely client-focused and has consistently maintained a client retention rate of 95%.
Grayling was selected following a three-way pitch. According to Claude Daboul, Allianz Worldwide Care’s Director of Sales, Marketing and Operations, it was not only Grayling’s global reach that influenced the final selection but also, the consultancy’s ethos and values, which closely matched those of the client.
“As an inaugural appointment, selecting the right PR agency was particularly important to us,” said Claude Daboul. “We obviously needed to work with a company with a global footprint and a level of experience and expertise that would complement our objectives and exacting requirements. However, we also wanted a company whose ethos and standards mirrored those of Allianz Worldwide Care’s. We felt that there was a lot of common ground between the two companies, which assisted us greatly in the selection process. Allianz Worldwide Care has strong corporate values and we expect partners and service providers to demonstrate a similar level of like-mindedness in business”.
“In addition, Grayling was clearly able to demonstrate its intrinsic understanding of our industry and our markets and we are confident that the team will develop both creative and sound communications strategies that will help to drive the continued growth of our business.”
Michael Murphy CEO of Grayling added, “Grayling has a reputation for delivering successful, integrated national and international communications campaigns, for a range of clients, across a wide variety of industry sectors”.
“We are in a unique position in that we are able to draw on the expertise of our local market offices, enabling us to roll out effective global campaigns whilst being mindful of local conditions and trends”.
“We are very much looking forward to making a significant contribution to Allianz Worldwide Care’s business across the globe. The company is recognised as a beacon of success and market leadership, having achieved significant growth and enviable client retention rates.”
Grayling is the second largest independent global Public Relations, Public Affairs, Investor Relations and Events consultancy in the world.
