Allianz Worldwide Care Services is pleased to announce the opening of an operational support centre in Brussels, providing a local contact point for the company’s growing portfolio of intergovernmental organisations (IGO) and corporate clients. The company is now providing administration services for a range of global insurance risks including life, medical, dental, temporary incapacity, permanent disability and long term care.
Claude Daboul, Director of Sales, Marketing and Operations commented
“The Allianz Group has over 50 years of experience working with IGOs. Allianz Worldwide Care Services is delighted to be providing the administration services for a number of these clients. We offer administration services to IGOs for a range of cover including health insurance, life insurance, temporary incapacity, permanent disability and long term care. These organisations have the flexibility of being able to choose the combination of insurance which best suits their needs and the reassurance of knowing that it is all being administered from within the Allianz Group”.
Based at 35 rue de Laeken, Brussels, the support centre is headed up by Operations Manager Elke De Cauwer, who has many years of experience in supporting the health administration needs of IGOs. Locally based support staff respond to queries relating to cover, access to medical treatment and the processing of medical claims. Elke De Cauwer commented
“This is an exciting time for the new team in Brussels. Many IGOs have their Head Office in continental Europe so this new office in Brussels will provide clients with a convenient, local and very accessible support facility. At the same time, we are very pleased to be generating local employment, with 28 new positions filled so far”.
