Ron
Buchan is a chartered insurer with experience in both life and health
insurance and whose core discipline is sales and marketing. He has
served as General Manager, Sales and Marketing, for a Scottish Life
Office and as General Manager for PPP, the UK’s second largest health
insurer. In 1999 the Allianz Group appointed Ron as Chief Executive of
the newly created Allianz Worldwide Care.
Ron is tasked with continuing the impressive growth trends that have
been the hallmark of his tenure as Chief Executive to date.
He is responsible for guiding the formulation and execution of Allianz
Worldwide Care’s strategic direction, as well as creating the
conditions that enable the company to continue to prosper.
