Allianz Care - Allianz Worldwide Care has launched competitive new expat health insurance plans in Switzerland in partnership with local providers KPT and Allianz Global Assistance

Offering a ‘one stop shop’ for expat insurance in Switzerland, the Suisse International Healthcare Plan is one of the country’s first fully compliant international solutions. This partnership combines local and international expertise in terms of access to medical networks, claims management and helpline services. KPT is one of Switzerland’s most respected and innovative health insurance providers, while Allianz Worldwide Care and Allianz Global Assistance are specialist brands of Allianz Worldwide Partners, one of the largest multinationals in the Allianz Group, with a strong global presence.

The plans are designed for people who want to combine quality domestic cover with comprehensive international cover. These include global organisations with teams based inside and outside of Switzerland, as well as Swiss nationals expatriated abroad and foreign residents in Switzerland, both of whom may travel frequently.

Clients can avail of convenient cashless access to treatments at a wide range of in-patient and day-care facilities, as well as other benefits including comprehensive oncology cover, medical evacuation, semi-private and private rooms.  The Core Plans can also be supplemented with out-patient, dental, maternity and repatriation cover.

Catherine Loeffel, Member of the Board at KPT said: “We’re extremely proud to partner with Allianz Worldwide Care, one of the world’s leading international health insurers. KPT is thrilled to add to our experience of serving an international clientele with partnerships that will combine our in-depth knowledge of the Swiss market with our new partners’ global expertise.”

Ida Luka Lognoné, Member of the Board of Allianz Worldwide Partners, responsible for International Health, said: "We’re delighted to bring an enhanced product offering to our growing client base in Switzerland. These partnerships have allowed us to create a tremendous proposition that combines the strength of our international reach with the reassurance of local know-how.”
