Our flexible, affordable range of international healthcare plans have been designed to cover the needs of individuals, couples and families based in Dubai. These plans are underwritten and sold by our regional partner Orient Insurance and are compliant with minimum benefit requirements set out by the Dubai Health Authority and required for visa purposes.
You are offered a selection of Core and Out-patient Plans, which cover a wide range of in-patient day-care and out-patient treatments plus other benefits such as medical evacuation, oncology (covered at full refund), rehabilitation treatment, palliative care and a variety of maternity benefits. You can enhance your chosen plan by selecting any of the supplementary Dental or Repatriation Plans. To help reduce healthcare premiums we offer a range of co-payment options. This flexibility ensures that cover is appropriate based on your needs and budget.
You will be supported locally by a Dubai based operational and sales support office. This local office provides helpline, client services, claims and medical services support and also provides brokers with a local point of contact.

Our Dubai plans operate on a Direct Settlement basis where most Core Plan and Out-patient Plan treatment is provided on a cashless basis, with bills being settled directly between the medical provider and insurer. Members have the choice of three comprehensive hospital networks:
Comprehensive Network users can access all medical providers.
Standard Plus Network users can access all of the medical providers in the Comprehensive Network except the Dubai based American Hospital.
Standard Network users can access all of the medical providers in the Standard Plus Network except for the Dubai based Welcare Hospital and the City Hospital.
The chosen hospital network is recorded on the member’s Access Card which must be presented at your medical facility.

Direct settlement is available for in-patient and out-patient treatment, so the hospital bills the insurer for the treatment directly.

Under your insurance policy, you have access to an extensive network of medical providers based in Dubai. Accessing treatment via your selected network, most Core Plan and Out-patient Plan treatments will be provided on a direct settlement basis, with bills being settled directly between the medical provider and us. The type of Dubai network selected for you is indicated on your Access Card and the detailed list of the medical providers included in your network has been provided to you at inception.
You are also covered for treatment outside of Dubai and within your selected area of cover, which is indicated on you Access Card. If you need to find a medical provider in other countries, you can access our convenient Medical Provider directory. Please click here to search for a medical provider in a specific country, region or city. You are not limited to use the providers indicated in our Medical Provider directory.
Pre-authorization is required in advance of all in-patient and some out-patient treatments, as indicated by the notes 1 and 2 in your Table of Benefits. If you access treatment within your medical network, your medical provider will contact us directly, upon seeing your Access Card, to process the necessary paperwork. However, if access any treatment requiring Pre-authorization at a provider outside of your network or outside of the country, please download and complete the Pre-authorization Form from the downloads area at the bottom of this page and return it to us. Following approval, cover can be guaranteed and, where possible, we will arrange to settle your bill directly with the hospital.
Whenever your medical provider confirms to you that your treatment can’t be offered on a direct settlement basis, you will need to pay your bill directly to your medical provider and then claim back the costs from us. In order to claim for your reimbursement, please download our MyHealth app (more information here). Alternatively, please download the Claim Form from the downloads area at the bottom of this page, then complete and return it to us. Please note that reimbursements are subject to your plan’s benefit limits and terms.
